- To celebrate Japan’s well-known “Devoted Husbands” tradition, this race features a special division for husband-and-wife pairs. Known as one of Japan’s toughest road races, the intense out-and-back course of the Tsumagoi Highland Cabbage Marathon is bound to excite any marathon enthusiast! It’s more than just a race—it’s a fun-filled celebration of all things cabbage!

- Certificates and prizes (medals for the top three) are awarded to the top six finishers. Categories→Men: High school & older (≤29, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60+), junior high, elementary (Grades 1–3 / 4–6). Women: High school & older (≤34, 35–49, 50+), junior high, elementary (Grades 1–3 / 4–6) No parent-child or couples divisions. Grades based on the JP school system.

◆Important Announcement◆
● Please note that credit card and PayPal payments are not available in Turkey and Russia.
● Registration will close once the participant limit has been reached.
● The official Race Guide will be emailed to all registered runners by the beginning of June.
● All participants must be in good physical condition and agree to comply with the event rules and regulations.
● Finishers will be able to download an online certificate on race day.
【Parent & Child Pair Division】
This division is open to teams consisting of one parent or guardian and one child aged 0–12.
Please register under the name of the parent or guardian who will run together with the child.
【Couple Pair Division】
Open to married couples, engaged couples, or couples in a relationship.
Participants in this division are required to stay at a designated accommodation on the night before the race.
Please contact the Tsumagoi Village Tourism Association to book eligible accommodations.

【Minors】
Participants under the age of 19 must obtain parental consent prior to registration.
【Wheelchair Participation】
Wheelchair participation is not permitted in this event.
【Participants with Disabilities】
Participants who require assistance may be accompanied by one escort at no additional charge.
Please note that guide dogs are not permitted.
Escorts must be arranged by the participant in advance.
