The city comes alive.” The course will take you on an unforgettable journey through Morioka’s vibrant new city, historic downtown with Morioka Castle Site, charming castle town, and breathtaking countryside, all with the stunning backdrop of Mt. Iwate. We’re also enhancing the experience with well-equipped aid stations, offering you the chance to truly immerse yourself in the essence of Morioka as you run!

    Full Marathon (42.195 km) (certified)

    Must be 19 years old or older on race day
    Time Limit：Total of 6 hours *Course cut-offs included
    

    Fun Run (12.1 km)

    Must be 13 years old or older on race day
    Time Limit：Total of 1 hour and 45 minutes *Course cut-offs included
    

    Pair Run (1.3 km)

    Must be 7 years old or older on race day ※Pair that both members age 7-12 cannot participate together as a pair.
    Time Limit：Total of 15 minutes *No cut-offs

    Full Marathon: 12,000 JPY ／ Fun Run: 6,600 JPY ／ Pair Run: 3,300 JPY

    Finishers of the full marathon within the time limit will receive the Nanbu ironware finisher medal and the finisher towel. Fun run finishers will receive the finisher Towel. Pair Run participants will receive tickets to watch Iwate Big Bulls and Iwate Grulla Morioka games. *Commemorative items like official T-shirts and bib clips will be available for purchase.
