  • The Race Guide will be sent by e-mail. Please be sure to provide an e-mail address that can receive messages.

    【Registration Information】
    Credit card and PayPal payments are not available in Turkey and Russia.
    If the entry limit is exceeded, participants will be selected by lottery. This application will be treated as a “Provisional registration.”

    After the application deadline, lottery results will be announced on August 17 (Mon) via the “Entry History” page in My Page. Results will also be sent to the email address registered with Run Japan as of the entry deadline; however, the organizers are not responsible for any failure of email delivery. Please note that if payment is not completed by the deadline, the entry will be invalidated even if selected.

    Elite Men and Elite Women entries are not handled on Run Japan. For inquiries, please contact the race office directly below:

    【Eligibility Requirements】
    Eligible athletes must meet all of the following conditions:
    ● Be 19 years of age or older on race day.
    ● Have achieved, at an officially certified competition in Japan or abroad by the application deadline, a performance within the following standards (net time is also accepted):
    →Marathon: 4:00:00 or faster
    →Half Marathon: 1:33:00 or faster

    A race certificate (i.e., a finisher’s certificate or any document that verifies the result) must be submitted.

    Race certificate submission methods (two options):
    ● Submit an official race certificate by email to the race office: sports@city.hofu.yamaguchi.jp
    ● If applying using a result from the Hofu Yomiuri Marathon held within the past four years (53rd–56th editions), submission is not required, as the organizing office will verify the result directly.
