- “Stair Climbing”—a participatory urban sport that has gained popularity around the world—is finally set to take place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in November 2026!! The event will be held on the emergency staircases of a downtown landmark that are normally off-limits to the public. Participants climb approximately 1,000 steps to the 45th floor (202 m) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Why not take on the challenge at this first-ever event!? Aim for the breathtaking view that awaits you at the finish line!

◆Important Announcement◆
Credit card and PayPal payments are not available in Turkey and Russia.
- Please note that the entry will be closed once the maximum capacity has been reached.
- Race Guide will be sent via email.
- Luggage storage will be set up, but valuables are unacceptable. Keep your valuables with you at your own risk.
For children runners who cannot use online payment: Use the Group Entry
Adults with a Run Japan account should use the Group Entry feature to register the children. Add the name of the children who will be running to the member list.
Team Division
- 3 persons per team, mix-gender team allowed
- Please provide all team members’ Name/ Gender/ Date of Birth(Age)/ T-shirt size.
- Changing the number of team members after registration cannot be accommodated. Please confirm that all team members can participate before registering.
Lower Elementary Division
- Participants must be accompanied by a guardian living in the same household.
- Please register under the name of the children. For registration, use the group entry explained above.
Notes
- Walking sticks: NOT permitted due to narrow stairs
- Use of handrails & Wearing gloves: Permitted
*As there are no evacuation routes along the course, participants generally cannot withdraw after passing the starting point. Please consider your physical condition before participating.
- Wave start at 10-second intervals; (Team: start in groups of 1 or 3 / Fun Run: in groups of 6)
- Regardless of when the decision to cancel the event is made, entry fees will not be refunded.
- If the event is canceled, participation rights will not be carried over to the following year’s event.
