Registration and Payment
- Registration may close early if the event reaches capacity before the deadline.
- Credit card and PayPal payments are not available for participants in Turkey or Russia.
- The race guide will be distributed via email to all registered participants in early February before the event.
Starting Block Assignments (S Block Eligibility)
- Starting blocks are assigned based on declared finish times submitted during registration.
Runners may request placement in the front-row S Block if they meet the following criteria:
Men: Completed in 3 hours or less (on or after February 1, 2023).
Women: Completed in 3 hours 20 minutes or less (on or after February 1, 2023).
Proof of eligibility must be submitted electronically to the Kagoshima Marathon Executive Committee Secretariat by November 6, 2026.

Fun Run Details
- The 8.9KM fun run will start after a designated interval following the marathon.
- No official time will be recorded for the fun run.
- The time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you cannot reach the goal by 10:15, please retire from the race.
Costume and Gear Restrictions
- Runners placed in the S Block are not permitted to run in costume.
- While there are no specific restrictions, participants may be prohibited from wearing costumes or gear that could interfere with other runners.
Additional Services
- Storage for valuables is available for a fee of 500 JPY.
