A “History Corridor Marathon” that takes runners past historic sites, including the five-story pagoda at Bitchu Kokubunji Temple, the only one of its kind in Okayama Prefecture. With a wide variety of race distances, ranging from a full marathon to 800 meters (the half marathon and 10K courses are certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations), there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Along the course, local specialties and runner’s meals are provided at each aid station in collaboration with city shops, offering a true taste of Soja City’s unique cuisine. Experience history, culture, and cuisine at the Soja Kibiji Marathon!

.Notice

◆Important Announcement◆
Credit card and PayPal payment options are unavailable for participants in Turkey and Russia.

- Please note that the entry will be closed once the maximum capacity has been reached.

- The Race Guide will be distributed by email from the organizer in early February. Athlete bibs will be distributed during check-in.

- Valuables storage is available for 500 JPY. One piece of baggage can be checked free of charge.

- Parking lots with shuttle bus service to the venue are available. We kindly request that you share rides or use public transportation whenever possible (JR trains will increase the number of services).

- For the 3 km event, a wave start will be used, with participants divided into groups and starting at different times to ensure safety in the start area.

- Children aged 7-17 for 1.5 km event / Children aged 12 and under for 800m event:
Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent/guardian should complete the registration. Each parent/guardian may register up to three children. ※Parents must be 18 years or older.

- For the 800m event, participants may participate using a wheelchair (competition wheelchairs are not permitted).

- Guide runners for participants with disabilities must also be registered.
