Run Okinawa’s coastline, then let’s dance!
The 100km race starts in Yonabaru Town in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island. The highlight is the beautiful coastal course that runs all the way to the turnaround point at Itoman City Hall. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches of Hyakuna Beach and the views of Oujima Island before heading back. Near the end of the course, the breathtaking panorama from Nirai Kanai Bridge creates an unforgettable moment for every runner!
Beyond the coastline, the course also takes you through classic Okinawan scenery such as sugarcane fields and traditional houses.
At the main venue, Yonakohama Park, Okinawan folk music starts playing in the evening as runners finish. Celebrate your achievement with fellow runners by dancing the Kachaashii (traditional Okinawan dance)! Delicious local food and cold beer await you for the perfect post-race moment.

Plenty of Proud Okinawan Food at Aid Stations and the Venue
The abundant and delicious aid stations are one of the race’s biggest attractions!
Enjoy a wide variety of Okinawan specialties such as juushi (seasoned rice) rice balls, mozuku seaweed soup, sata andagi (Okinawan doughnuts), pork & egg, and more. With water stations approximately every 2.5 km and a total of 26 food stations planned, you’ll be well supported throughout the race!

Finisher Medal Made of Traditional Okinawan Pottery “Yachimun”
The finisher medal is a special original piece crafted from “Yachimun,” Okinawa’s traditional pottery. As a symbol of Okinawan culture, its solid, substantial feel will remind you of the island’s history, culture, and your race memories every time you look at it. On race day, each 100km and 50km finisher receives their medal heir medal personally, one by one .
Warm Communication Through Your Bib Number
You’ll be greeted by warm cheers from local residents along the course and plenty of private aid stations. The Okinawan spirit of “Ichariba Chode” (“Once we meet, we are all brothers and sisters”) creates a welcoming atmosphere even for solo international runners.
The reverse side of your race bib can be filled in with your self-introduction, goals, or personal messages. This makes the roadside support feel even more personal. Write your message and enjoy the connections you’ll make over 100km!

Average Temperature of 18.7°C in This Season
In December, the average temperature in Okinawa is a comfortable 18.7°C — neither too hot nor too cold, perfect for running. Because the race is held outside the peak tourist season, flights and accommodation are relatively affordable.
Highly recommended for runners coming from colder regions and northern climates!

Designed to Be Easy to Join
Race options are flexible: 100km (14-hour limit), 50km (time limit extended to 9 hours from the 2026 race), and 22.5km. Ideal for first-time ultrarunners or those who want to participate while cheering others on.
A round-trip shuttle bus from central Naha (advance purchase required) helps reduce transportation stress.

The official website also offers multilingual support in 15 languages, including English and Chinese, for greater peace of mind. Overseas participation continues to grow year by year, with runners mainly from Asia (especially China and Taiwan) as well as from Europe and North America.
