The World’s Largest Women-Only Marathon — Guinness World Record Holder

The race was recognized by Guinness World Records in 2012 as the “World’s Largest Women-Only Marathon.” In 2018, a record 21,915 women started the race. Last year, runners from 43 countries and regions took part in the full marathon.

It offers a one-of-a-kind experience where beginners and elite athletes share the same course in a special festival atmosphere dedicated exclusively to women.

World Athletics Platinum Label ―The Highest Ranking

This race holds the prestigious World Athletics Platinum Label, the same ranking as the Boston, London, Berlin, and Tokyo Marathons.
Enjoy the prestige of running on the same course and crossing the same finish line as elite athletes, while taking on a fast course designed to help you chase a personal best. The race regularly delivers outstanding performances, including the course record of 2:17:18, set by Ruth Chepng’etich in 2022.

Finish Line at the 2024 Race

Exclusive Baccarat Crystal Tumbler for Every Finisher

Every runner who completes the race receives a limited-edition crystal tumbler from Baccarat, the renowned French luxury brand with over 260 years of history (presented in Baccarat’s iconic red box).
Adding to the glamorous experience, the tumbler is presented by tuxedo-clad staff selected through an audition, creating a magical moment that makes every finisher feel like the heroine of the day.
You’ll also receive a stylish official finisher T-shirt specially designed by New Balance, which is always highly popular.

A Flat, Fast Course Ideal for Personal Bests +a 7-Hour Time Limit

The course runs mainly through the center of Nagoya and features very little elevation change (maximum of about 15 meters overall).
Starting and finishing inside the Vantelin Dome Nagoya (an indoor stadium) minimizes the impact of weather.
In the 2026 race, the generous 7-hour time limit helped achieve a finish rate of approximately 96.6%.
It’s a beginner-friendly course that also offers excellent opportunities to chase a personal best.
